The Steering Committee of the Polish-British Belvedere Forum convened in Warsaw to prepare another meeting of civil societies of Poland and the United Kingdom.

The Committee’s session was chaired by Sir Malcolm Rifkind and Professor Zdzisław Krasnodębski. It discussed the organisation and agenda of the forthcoming Forum, scheduled to take place in Warsaw on 6-7 March 2019. Discussions on the processes operating within our societies and in our bilateral relations, as well as on global phenomena will let citizens’ voice be heard in a public debate.

Sir Malcolm Rifkind and Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Bartosz Cichocki delivered speeches during a reception held alongside the Committee’s session. The Deputy Minister said: "The first two editions of the Belvedere Forum have confirmed that the decision to create a Polish-British social dialogue platform was a right one."
