    Jan Olszewski, Poland's former prime minister, a lawyer, an activist of the opposition and a defender in political processes in the Polish People's Republic, has died at the age of 88.

    Following the death of the former Prime Minister of Poland Jan Olszewski, 15th-16th February have been announced as days of national mourning in Poland.

     

    A book of condolence is being displayed at the Polish Embassy in London on the following days and times:

     

    Friday, 15th February, 9am-3pm

    Saturday, 16th February, 12pm-4pm

    Monday, 18th February, 1.30pm-4.30pm

     

    We would like to kindly inform you that before entering the Embassy, standard security checks are being carried out. You need a proof of identity to enter the building. Please do not take with you any items that may slow down the checking process.
