    On Wednesday, September 26, representatives of Polish start-ups took part in a training session at the Polish Embassy in London, preparing them for the Central European Start-Ups Day 2018.


    The training session was aimed at presenting the realities of the British market, where the participants will present their products and services the following day, as well as teaching them useful presentation skills. Lucia Klincova from the Department for International Trade also presented the opportunities the UK market presents to the participants.


    Central European Start-Ups Day 2018 is a seminar organised by embassies of the Visegrad Group countries (V4) for representatives of technology start-ups from these countries, during which a pitching session will be take place for a group of potential investors, representatives of the finance sector and accelerators. The goal of the event is to present the most interesting start-ups in the Central European region to British investors, to facilitate business networking and to present the region as dynamic and friendly to new technologies. Each country will be represented by five companies, and representatives of Poland will be Edward, Slavic Monsters, Runvido, CardioTechnology and Billon.


    Besides the other V4 embassies, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is also a partner of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London in organising the event.
